Chrousso is located on the southwestern coast of the Gulf of Kassandra, in Kanavitsa Bay. The beach is the coastal part of a closed bay, 1.4 km long. It occupies the entire bay and has an average width of 25 m. and a northeasterly orientation. The coastal zone and the seabed are sandy. The bathing waters in the first few meters are shallow, while the slope of the bottom is gentle (the depth of 5 m. is located 180 m from the coast). The coastal zone is partially modified as a breakwater has been constructed at its northern end from natural boulders for its anti-erosion protection, while at its southern end there is a pier for mooring small boats.
